Hi Shelley: Thanks! I found this flower on the strip in the middle of the busy street. Interest what you spot when you take time to “smell the roses.”

Hi Paz,
This wonderful photo depicts an allium. They grow from a bulb and come in various heights and blossom size. Although a member of the lily family, give the plant a sniff and you’ll detect the faint scent of onion. I have the med height variety and the small variety. Love ‘em both.

Oh, my goodness! The faint scent of onion? Wow! If I see the flower again, I’ll stop and take a sniff.
When I saw this flower (first time I’ve ever seen it), it stopped me in my tracks. Thanks again for the info.
