Saturday, March 29th, 2008

*Based on a word, place, or thing, I’ll write a scene.  The focus of today’s scene is a ‘snow storm.’  So, here’s my story centering around a snow storm.  At the end of the scene, I’m asking you to tell me what you think happens next.

“What are you doing here?”

The angry-sounding man’s voice awakened Avery Moore from her very erotic and delightful dream. Her eyes popped open and she quickly sat up, swinging her legs down from the couch in the middle of her office, to the carpeted floor.

“Where else am I supposed to be – the president’s office down the hall?” She blinked and rubbed her eyes, then raised them to see the dark gaze of Tony Gordano, the fine-looking maintenance man in her office building.

Still sleepy and unable to hide her perusal of Tony’s handsome face, she checked out his dark eyes, which seemed to burn with intensity, his chiseled-looking cheekbones and nose and kissable-looking lips. He had an equally looking sculpted body, that couldn’t be hidden, even under his blue uniform. The long-sleeved shirt couldn’t hide the fact that he had a wide chest and shoulders, and strong-looking arms.

God, he was hot. She took a slow, deep breath to calm herself. His nostrils flared. Could he tell that she’d just creamed her panties? Looking away from his face, she focused on his torso. Underneath his shirt, she imagined he had a flat stomach and she wondered if he even had a six-pack. The urge to reach out and find out for herself overcame her.

She stood up from the couch and walked towards him, stopping a foot away. “I don’t like your tone of voice with me, Mr. Gordano.”

He ran his hand through his short-cropped white hair, almost silver. She’d always wondered about his hair color. Probably premature coloring, she decided. When he moved, he did so with ease and speed. She never saw him in one place for long. He’d fix whatever needed fixing in the office and moved on to another problem in another part of the building just as quickly as he’d come.

From the way he moved, with quiet strength, and the way his body looked, fit and hard, she knew he was young, no more than in his early thirties. He couldn’t be much older than her twenty-nine years of age. Just to give herself something to do, she smoothed her hands over her knee length, silk-lined woolen skirt.

“I’m sorry.” He seemed a bit agitated, as he shifted from one foot to the other before folding his arms across his wide chest. “It’s just that I’m surprised to see you here. Everyone left hours ago.”

She blinked, rubbing the gritty feeling from her eyes with her fingers. “What do you mean, everyone left hours ago?”

The corners of his oh-so kissable mouth lifted. “Haven’t you been listening to the news?”

Avery shook her head. “I didn’t have time, I…”

Tony walked to the wall of windows on the other side of her office and lifted the blinds.    Snow swirled outside the window.   “Take a look.”

She walked over to place her fingers on the icy cold glass, watching as a large flake of crystalline snow melted, quickly replaced by another. Snow covered everything, from the streets, parked cars, tree branches, and sidewalks. It looked like a magical winter wonderland. With the exception of someone going down the middle of the street on skies, like a cross-country skier, the streets were empty. There were no pedestrians or motorists in sight.

The glass rattled as a fierce wind howled through New York’s city streets and Avery jumped closer to Tony. When she realized what she’d done, she backed away, but not before feeling the side of Tony’s hard body and the heat that emanated from it. An electric shot raced through her body from the tips of her toes to her scalp, unleashing an energy that hardened her nipples and caused more moisture to form in her pussy.   It took all her self-determination not to jump his bones right then and there. She spared another glance at the window before looking at him again. “No one’s waiting for me at home… Anyway… so… what are you still doing here?”

He shoved his hands into his pocket and shrugged. “There’s no one waiting home for me, either. Earlier, I thought I’d take care of a few repairs in the building before heading home and like you, I lost track of time. Because of the snowstorm, I have no choice but to stay here for the night.”

“I guess we’re stuck in the building till the morning, huh?” Just staring at him and being so close made her shiver with want. Her nipples hardened even more and she tried to casually cross her arms over chest so that he wouldn’t notice. In an effort to put some distance between them, she turned to walk towards her desk.

He cleared his throat. “Have you had dinner?”

“What?”   She turned around.

“Dinner. You know, the meals of the day – breakfast, lunch, and dinner?”

Before she could give him an answer, her stomach growled. Her eyes widened in surprise and embarrassment and her hands flew to cover her stomach. “Well, I guess you have your answer.”

His face broke out in a smile. Ever since she’d seen him, he always looked serious, almost brooding. This was the first time she’d seen a smile on his face. Wow! He ought to smile more often.

“What are you smiling about?” She tried to sound serious and school her features the same way.

“Nothing.” He crossed his arms over his chest and his lips twitched.

“You’d better not be laughing at me.”

“Of course not.” His sexy dark eyes twinkled and his grin grew wider.

“I’m so serious.” Her arms still hugged her stomach.

The sight of his shoulders moving up and down as he burst out in contagious laughter caused her to laugh as well. He had a nice, deep, hardy laugh that she liked to hear and with which she enjoyed laughing alongside.

She wiped a tear from the corner of her eye as her laughter subsided. “No, I haven’t had dinner and I forgot to eat lunch. I guess my stomach is putting me on notice.”

“Just before the snow came down, I’d bought a pastrami sandwich and a bottle of Coke from the deli around the corner. We can share.”

“Pastrami! I haven’t eaten that in ages!” She tucked some hair behind her right ear.   She needed a hair trim or perhaps, she should get single braids. She tucked her hair on the other side.

“Good, I’ll bring it up.” He shifted his stance, crossing a pair of muscular forearms across his broad chest. “One question, first?”

“What?” Her eyebrow arched as she tried to guess his question.

“Mustard or Mayo?”

She gave him a curious look. “You want to know what I like.”

He nodded. Slowly.

“What kind of condiment do you have on your pastrami sandwich?” She took a step towards him, unable to resist the vibes she felt between them.

“Mustard.” He grinned and stepped towards her, too.  “Why?”

The way his lips stretched into another wide smile had her wanting to touch her lips to his. She wondered whether their lips would sizzle once they met. Would she see fireworks? She’d dreamed about kissing him and more.

At the thought of how he’d taste on her mouth, she licked her lips. Another fierce gust of wind pummeled the panes of glass on the window. She took another step towards him.   “Oh, great. I’ll eat the sandwich with mayo but I prefer one with mustard. I love my pastrami with mustard.” She licked her lips again.

“Good. I prefer mustard, too. So, I’ll go get the sandwich.” He didn’t move though. He’d been staring at her lips, and then he stared deeply into her eyes, causing her heart to beat faster.

A boom sounded outside. Startled, she jumped and fell forward against his hard body. Her hands stretched out and she rested her palms on his wide chest. Just as she was about to push away from him his long arms closed around her. His heartbeat thumped beneath her palm and she couldn’t miss his hard-on resting against his thigh. She couldn’t take the sensations that screamed at her to do something about them anymore and rotated the lower half of her body against him.

He groaned and tightened his hold on her. Just then, the lights flickered and went out, causing the office to plunge into darkness. She looked up into his face and gasped. When she tried to pull back, he didn’t let go.  What the hell?  His eyes glowed a vibrant red.

The Bus Stop

John loosened his tie as he looked out his office window and watched the people and activity below.  Cars whizzed by as some pedestrians waited for the light.  Other impatient ones foolishly risked life and limb by jaywalking.

One driver beeped his horn with vigor when he almost hit a jaywalker – a distinguished-looking gentleman with wavy white hair, dressed in a long black winter coat. The pedestrian didn’t react, except to give the driver the one finger salute without breaking his stride across the street.  Unscathed, his feet touched the curb on the other side of the street and John watched him disappear down the subway stairs.

He shook his head and turned his attention back to the bus stop across the street from is window.  He watched with the patience of a bird watcher, except that he was on the look out for a female species of the human kind – tall, voluptuous, with a mop of black curly hair and a sultry smile that caught his attention even from his office on the sixth floor of the twenty-story high-rise building.

Sharp eyes focused on the ground below and within a few seconds, the sight of the person for who he searched, rewarded his patience.  She walked with confidence, charm and femininity.  He could watch her move around all day – well her and the football games, all day.

Covered in a big gray coat, with a vibrant pink scarf wrapped securely around her neck, she seemed warm enough, but the need to wrap his arms around her and personally warm her up overwhelmed him.

Better yet, he could envision them generating heat of their own in his bed – beneath the sheets, on top of the sheets, or without the sheets.  Any which way would work for him, as long as he had her in his arms.

At the thought of their body contact, enjoying a good fuck, his dick hardened and lengthened some more.  The space in his pants became tight so that he had to adjust himself carefully.

He’d never met this beautiful object of his lust before, yet it struck him that there was something sweet and precious, something hot and delicious about her.  With great interest, he watched as she reached the bus stop and greeted the other passengers there.  They were regular commuters who waited for the bus daily and he noticed that they normally spoke with each other as they waited for their bus.

Her face broke out in laughter in reaction to something a woman standing next to her must have said.  The sight of the object of his attention laughing made his stomach clench and his dick jerk.  Damn!  He’d give anything to hear the sound of her voice and laughter.

He’d been watching her for the past six months and remembered when he’d first seen her.  It happened one day when after working hours without a break, he’d needed to get up and stretch – get the kinks out of his shoulders and the lead out of his feet.  He’d walked to the window with no particular purpose in mind, other than to have a change of scenery and rest his eyes from staring at numbers on the computer screen.  Just when he looked out his window, he spotted the woman who’d intrigued him.

She’d walked down the sidewalk, like the other pedestrians, and then suddenly, she stopped, stretched her arms out, and twirled around and around. Then she snatched her hat off her head and threw it up in the air.

Her unusual and unexpected action made him laugh.  It was like a scene from the old Mary Tyler Moore Show, where the television sitcom actress had done the very same thing.  Even funnier was the fact that no one paid attention to this attractive woman on the street.  They’d simply sidestepped her, minding their own business, and kept walking.

Amused, he shook his head and chuckled.  The woman was big boned, as his mother would describe, but she moved with grace.  She bent down to pick up her hat and his eyes fixated on her shapely backside.  Never into big women – what did they call themselves nowadays… Plus-sized women!  Yeah, that’s it, plus-sized – he surprised himself by having an attraction to her.

After his first sighting of her, he made it a point to take a break at four everyday, and look out the window for her.  A strange type of excitement shot through his body when he saw her everyday, even from afar.

His dick stirred and he rubbed it absentmindly, as if to soothe it.  He imagined the pleasure he’d get, if given the chance to have her in his bed.   He’d love to spread her legs open and check out her hot cunt.  Did she have a bushel of hair covering it or did she shave herself clean?  Or did she go for the Brazilian wax?

He wanted to play with her.  Using his finger, he’d glide it across her labia and the around her smooth and slippery clit, circling it, wanting to see how wet with her sweet honey he could get her before she came.

Then he’d taste her, lick her from front to back.  He swore to himself, he wouldn’t let a single drop of her sweet essence go to waste.  The mere thought of tasting and eating her out made him hungry and thirsty.  He rubbed his throat and swallowed.  His Adam’s apple moved, as if in agreement with him.  Staring at her, he had a strong feeling that she probably tasted as sweet and delicious as she looked.

He snapped out of his musings, just in time to see her stop and talk to a woman before she reached the bus stop.  In alarm and concern, he watched as she covered her face.  Her shoulders slumped over and shook.  It was obvious she was crying.  She’d probably received some bad news and his heart expanded in sympathy for her.  His heart?  Wait a minute, his mind protested.  When did his heart get involved after watching a woman walk to the bus stop every day?

He hadn’t spoke to her yet, but he knew that she was a woman who could capture his heart.  Damn, this was a crazy thought!  Where were these feelings coming from?  How could he feel this way for someone he’d never met, much less spoken to before?

His eyes moved away from her, to look down at his shaking hands.  His heart beat so hard that he had to place a hand over it.  Each thump he felt against the palm of his hand jarred his senses.  Looking back out the window again and focusing on the woman who caused this unwanted havoc with his senses and heart, he watched as she said a few words, and the leaned forward to give the woman a hug.

Her bus arrived and she followed in line behind the other commuters, boarding the bus.  He adjusted the hard bulge in his pants, a second time, and slowly blew out a breath.  This watching game of one-sided watching game was getting ridiculous.  He couldn’t keep lusting after this beautiful stranger, especially from afar.  He was going to have to do something about it.  He wanted to learn all about her and he wanted her to get to know him.

Still staring out the window, this time he was blind to the activities below.  Lost in thought, a plan formed in his mind about how he’d introduce himself to this beauty that haunted his dreams, day and night.

Seasons Greetings and Happy New Year!

Happy Holidays, everyone! I trust you had a nice Christmas celebration and continue to enjoy the holiday season.

I want to thank all the readers and visitors who’ve stopped by my site.  Thanks for your comments and emails.

Many of you have asked about  VACATION  SOUVENIR.  Thanks to Siren Publishing, I have the rights back to my story (that was a nice Christmas present.).  I’m in the process of revising and lengthening it a bit.  Then, I’ll look for a new home for it.

Other writing projects I’m working on include the sequel to VACATION SOUVENIR, and a few new stories.  I hope to complete them soon and have them out this coming new year.  I have posted blurbs about two of the stories — KAYLIN’S SPECIAL DELIVERY and THE BIRTHDAY TREAT — in the ‘Coming Soon‘ section.   You can read more about them there.  In the near future, I’ll post excerpts.  So come back for a sneak peak.

For now, I’d like to leave you with the perfect breakfast recipe to enjoy, especially during this holiday season and New Year — Gold Coast French Toast.  As you prepare it, the smells of the cinnamon and nutmeg waft through the air, leaving a delicious scent and a good feeling.  You won’t be able to resist it, neither will the person for whom you prepare this.  He or she will feel the love when eating your French Toast and want to return the love right back to you.  ;-)

I used challah to make my French Toast but you can use any egg or sweet bread.  Be sure to cut thick slices, so that the bread doesn’t collapse when it is dipped in the egg mixture and cooked.  I like to eat my French Toast with maple syrup alone.  If you want something more, in addition to the maple syrup, you can sprinkle confectioner’s sugar over your French Toast and serve with a side helping of fresh fruits ( as seen in last photo below).  Enjoy!

I wish you a happy and joyous New Year filled with lots of good and hot reads.

Best,

Paz

Hard Work!

I saw this cartoon/pic on Monica’s blog (she’s got a lot of great stuff and topics posted there!). I just had to post it here, too. Unfortunately, I know the feeling. ;-)

You can do it, Celia!
